What you agree to by taking a seat, in the plainest language we can manage. It is short because the app is small.

FriendsFried is operated by Sanatori Co, LLC, a California limited liability company, at 2108 N St, Ste N, Sacramento, CA 95816. Reach us at hello@sanatori.co. Using the app means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, do not take a seat.
A private social app in which five friends photograph what they eat and praise or fry each other for it. It is not nutrition, fitness or medical advice, it does not assess how healthy you eat, and it is not a diet product. Nothing here should inform a decision about your health.
Seats are for people aged 16 and up. If we learn a seat belongs to someone younger we delete it and everything hanging off it, without notice.
Claiming a seat gives your device a key. Holding a table code lets you join a table; it does not let you act as another seat. Lose the device and you lose the seat — there is no recovery, because we hold no password and no account to reset.
You keep ownership of every photo, caption and remark you post. You grant us only the permission needed to run the app: to store your content, and to show it to the other seats at your table. We do not sell it, license it on, use it to advertise, or train anything on it.
Post only what is yours to post. If other people appear in a photo, they agreed to be there. You confirm you have the right to everything you upload, and you carry the consequences if you do not.
The separate Code of Conduct page sets out what is and is not acceptable at a table. Breaking it is breaking these terms.
We may delete a plate, close a seat or shut down a whole table at any time, for any reason, with no warning and no appeal. This is a small experiment run by very few people, and there is no support desk behind it.
The app is provided as it is, with no guarantee that it works, stays available, or keeps anything safe. It is early software. Plates, verdicts, chat and entire tables may be lost. Do not treat FriendsFried as the only copy of a photo you care about.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Sanatori Co, LLC is not liable for lost content, lost data, interrupted service, or anything that happens between people at a table. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid us — which, while the app is free, is nothing.
You can leave a table whenever you like; it clears your seat and its plates immediately. To have every trace of you removed, email hello@sanatori.co with your table code and seat ID, both of which are in the app’s settings. We do it by hand. We may also end your access at any time under clause 08.
When they do, the date at the top of this page changes. Continuing to use the app after that means accepting the new version. Material changes will be noted in the app where we can.
These terms are governed by the laws of California, and any dispute belongs to the courts there.
